Special Journal Issue in Earth System Dynamics
Multiple drivers for Earth system changes in the Baltic Sea region
As announced at the conference, we are planning a Special Issue in "Earth System Dynamics" (ESD), related to the topic of the conference: "Multiple drivers of Earth System changes in the Baltic Sea region". Presenters at this conference (oral and poster) are invited to submit a paper on the presented subject, but we invite also contributions which were not presented at the conference but which have a strong relevance to the "Multiple driver" issue. So we encourage you and your colleagues to submit a paper.
ESD has a high impact factor of 4.589 and has a strong reputation for interdisciplinary Earth system research. ESD is an electronic Open Access journal which means that manuscripts will be published online as soon as they are finally accepted; slow manuscripts will not delay the whole process. Page charges apply but look at the ESD website to check for research institutions whose members do not have to pay. In some cases, we may be able to provide limited support.
Please be aware that your manuscript must fulfil the preconditions for publishing in ESD. Please check the ESD website for details. Manuscripts should be "as concise as possible but not at the expense of scientific accuracy and completeness", and "given the interdisciplinary nature of ESD, manuscripts should be written in a way to be clear to a range of relevant disciplines". Poor English may be a reason for rejection, so please pay attention to this aspect.
Before preparing your manuscript, please read and understand the instructions for preparing and submitting the manuscript on the journalĀ“s website.
